Key Responsibilities
- Manage Complex Centralized Kitchen operation; ensure a safe and hygienic kitchen environment, and food are served in top quality according to SOP
- Supervise all culinary crew; ensure all culinary staff practise good personal hygiene practices, compliance to food safety and workplace safety requirements
- Assist in the preparation and service of food to customers
- Maintain a cheerful smile when interacting with customers
- Facilitate effective communication and team engagement in the kitchen
- Lead the team and ensure the kitchen runs smoothly at all times
- Execute teamwork and contribute to cookhouse and zone performance
- Maintain personal knowledge by completing in-house training (where relevant)
- Always adhere to all company policies and procedures
- Professional representation of the company through personal conduct and appearance
Key Requirements
- Culinary certification with at least 3 years of relevant experience in a reputable hotel or restaurant
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience in working with a multicultural team
- Specialise in mass catering
