Key Responsibilities

 

Reporting to the Head, Human Capital Business Partner for Food Solutions, you are a key contributor as a trusted and influential partner to establish and drive people programmes for the Business to support and sustain the business, and drive sustainable growth across Asia-Pacific (APAC) region into new segments and revenue streams. This will involve formulating and executing the people strategy for the business in Singapore, as well as leading strategic people initiatives, embedding SATS’ Purpose and People Values, driving the culture transformation and implement Group Human Capital (HC) policies in the business.  

 

  • Develop & execute a People strategy for the Food Solutions business segment you support.
  • Coach and guide junior HC Business Partners on executing strategic initiatives, e.g. job design in Singapore, etc.  
  • Define key capabilities gaps based on the business strategy and partner with business leaders and respective HC COEs to implement intervention plans. 
  • Make interventions to strengthen the talent pipeline including targeted external hires and accelerating the development of internal talent.  
  • Be the change agent by role modelling the behaviors and way of operations and partnering with the business leadership team to make the change happen across the organization.  
  • Strengthen the employee engagement and create an excellent employee experience by managing the end to end employment cycle, e.g. workforce planning, talent acquisition, succession planning, talent management, employee relations and leadership development.  
  • Drive the use of analytics to bring proactive business insights to team to drive innovation and make data driven decisions in partnership with the data and analytics teams.
  • Ensure that HC policies and practices are aligned with relevant statutory requirements and legislation. 

Key Requirements

 

  • At least 8 to 10 years of human capital business partnering, with broad experience around all People-related aspects e.g. employee/labour relations, change management, performance and talent management in both country or regional capacity;
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills with demonstrated ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels and create alignment;
  • Get things done by navigating through the organization complexity, managing the ambiguity and demonstrating resilience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic and growing organisation;
  • Passion for the role, be forward-thinking and able to drive change;
  • Excellent verbal, written and analytical skills; and
  • Excellent people management and leadership development skills.
