Key Responsibilities
Financial Business Partner, Analysis and Reporting
- Manage and oversee the functions of financial performance review and analysis, management reporting, and review to ensure accuracy month end closing of business unit
- Drive, coordinate, prepare and track quartering forecast, annual budget and forward-looking strategic plans with business units
- Analyze monthly costing variances, gross margin analysis, work with operations in setting/update the right standard cost in SAP FICO/MM
- Drive gross margin and inventory management improvement initiatives, propose recommendations to overall cost management and review allocation of overheads cost
- Work with operations in managing operational controllable expenses drivers
- Partner business units closely to track project developments and ROI assessment
- Working with management to monitor performance against long term strategic plans
Accounting Practices and Financial Controls
- Uphold internal controls procedures and systems control in line with the Group’s financial policies
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of accounting records and financial systems as part of the financial review
- Handle year end audit queries and related audit required assessment
- Any ad-hoc assignments and projects
Key Requirement
- Degree in Accountancy / Finance, ACCA or equivalent professional qualification
- Strong technical knowledge in accounting with full set of accounts knowledge
- Meticulous and cautious in completing tasks
- 5-10 years of Finance Business Partnering or FP&A background
- Minimum 3 years audit experience preferred
- Good report writing and communication skills
- Experience in cost accounting and financial analysis experience in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to work using Excel and PowerPoint confidently
- Strong planning skills to support dynamic business requirements and meet tight reporting timelines
- High degree of initiative and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of S4 and Hyperion systems is an advantage
- Exposure in SAP FICO/MM highly preferred
