Key Responsibilities
- Be part of the process development team for the introduction of the new technology and Production Line
- To develop and train a team of technical workforce that provides technical and systems support to production / Operation in terms of planning, organising and executing the preventive maintenance program and fault rectification activities.
- Drafting of best practices and preventive maintenance procedures and contracts
- Look into existing preventive maintenance procedures/contracts ensuring that they are carried out accordingly by either in-house Technicians/Technical Officers or external vendors.
- Maintain business continuity plan for new technology and Production line
- Endorsement and recommendation of technical spares purchases
- Management of operating cost and budget for maintenance of new technology and Production line
- Maintain serviceability of equipment with optimum cost
- Justification of replacement and/or purchases for new equipment and improvements
- Preparation of technical specification / tender document for purchasing of catering equipment
- Manage the delivery/cutover of equipment by vendor and putting it in operation.
- Liaising with the stakeholder department as well as the vendor to ensure all requirements are met, including change request.
- Oversee general operation and provide first line support to the stakeholder department
- Guide, train and motivate working team in a professional and productive manner to meet present and future needs or expectation of the company
- Ensure Safety Practices are adhere to at all times
- Experience in Catering Industry maintenance will be advantageous
Key Requirements
- Degree in Engineering-related discipline
- Strong Mechanical and Electrical knowledge
- Strong problem-solving, analytical and methodical in approach
- Willingness to perform job-related duties that may include working at heights
- Ability to work with cross-functional and multi-disciplinary teams at all level
