Key Responsibilities
The Data Analyst will be responsible to provide insights into the SATS Supply Chain (focusing on Logistics and Distribution) across multiple business units, providing both ad-hoc data analytics as well as the development and preparation of regular KPI and Supply Chain metrics. The role will also facilitate and support continuous improvement activities in the scope of Logistics & Distribution with analytics, analysis, process transformation, innovation and deployment of technology, where relevant and applicable.
- Partnering with cross-functional teams and/or 3rd party service providers to support/lead improvements projects
- Participate and support to process and system analytical analysis, concept development, design, communication, KPI measurement, monitoring & report.
- Dashboards building, testing and release following the SATS Corporate guidelines on visualization and data security. Provide continuous support and maintenance to operative dashboards.
- Conduct ad-hoc data analytics for various logistics and warehousing topics to provide insights and assist in identifying and solving issues being faced.
- Assist in training the wider SATS L&W community on data analytics to improve the overall teams capability.
Key Requirements
- Degree in Supply Chain or related preferred
- Minimum 3 years related experience working as a Data Analyst with deep experience preparing data and analyzing to provide insights
- Experience in data analytics within a supply chain function is highly valued
- Prior experience with working in SAP S/4 and any Supply Chain Planning and Optimization systems
- With strong analytical and modeling skills with extensive data analysis (Excel/Access or more advanced tools) and strong mathematical abilities
- Knowledge in statistical theories and methods are of advantage
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills grounded in continuous quality improvement required.
