Key Responsibilities
- Required to have good understanding of all Coolport Quality Management System (CQMS) standards, requirements and procedures for Coolport Healthcare Procedure Manual, operations and accreditation;
- Responsible of attaining and maintaining QMS certification and recertification for Coolport as Management Representative;
- Is the designated Responsible Person who is appointed by Coolport Management, with the authority and responsibility for ensuring that CQMS is implemented, maintained and recorded;
- Required to establish and ensure compliance for processes and procedures for CQMS accreditation (Food handling, healthcare handling, medical device handling) in Coolport facilities, operations and policy for document control, reviewing, updating and maintenance of CQMS manuals;
- Responsible for Temperature Healthcare Cargo training for existing staff in Coolport, to ensure that staff working in Coolport is trained adequately in their role to handle healthcare shipments;
- Responsible for Food Safety Management System (FSMS) training for existing staff in Coolport, to ensure staff working in Coolport is fully aware of food safety requirements of perishables in Coolport’s custody
- Responsible to conduct regular audits on QMS to ensure successful certification/recertification.
- Acquire a basic understanding of vendor’s WMS as well as in-house COSYS+, Central Control, and other IT systems;
- Works closely with the Operations Manager (Coolport) to ensure daily operations adhere to procedures and standards set by the Coolport management, and advises on the performance and activities required to meet quality management standards for Healthcare and Perishables
- Make recommendations to enhance workflow improvements through quality assurance methods and monitoring, tracking and implementing work processes for continued work improvement.
- Translate customers’ new requirements or national regulations into internal procedures for staff
- Work closely with relevant section heads for successful implementation of CQMS, and responsible for planning and coordination of training needs for the implementation of CQMS.
- To be aware of safety responsibility and impact to self, staff and Company so as to inculcate safety first in operational work areas to ensure staff compliance with safety instructions, procedures and regulations; and
- Other assignments from Head (Coolport).
Key Requirements
- Bachelor degree with strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.
- At least 3 years of working experience in design, implement, and improve company quality standards
- Prior knowledge on international certifications (ISO9001, FSMS, HACCP, GDP) is a plus
- Prior experience in cold-chain supply chain management is a plus
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Words and PowerPoint necessary
- Able to engage effectively with internal & external stakeholders; strong communication and presentation skills
