Key Responsibilities
1. Operational Performance Analytics - Analyse operational, service and customer performance data to identify trends, exceptions, bottlenecks and improvement opportunities across stations/accounts.
2. Dashboard & KPI Reporting - Support development and maintenance of Excel/Power BI dashboards, scorecards and management reporting covering service KPIs, cycle times, SLA performance and operational exceptions.
3. Root Cause & Improvement Analysis - Perform structured deep-dives into operational issues using shipment-level or process-level data, supporting root-cause categorisation and development of corrective actions.
4. Management & Customer Presentations - Translate operational findings into concise, executive-ready presentations, including performance narratives, visualisations, key insights and recommended actions.
5. Service Delivery & Continuous Improvement Support- Support regional/global service delivery initiatives, process mapping, benchmarking, improvement projects and tracking of agreed actions with operational stakeholders.
Key Requirements
1. Strong analytical capability - Comfortable working with large or messy datasets and able to identify patterns, anomalies and meaningful operational insights.
2. Excel and data visualisation skills - Proficient in Excel; exposure to Power BI, Tableau or equivalent visualisation tools is strongly preferred.
3. Structured problem-solving - Able to break down operational problems logically; exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, process mapping, root-cause analysis or operations research is advantageous.
4. Strong presentation and communication skills - Able to convert analysis into clear PowerPoint slides and communicate findings simply to both operational and management stakeholders.
5. High ownership and learning agility - Comfortable working with ambiguity, asking the right questions, independently following through on analysis and adapting quickly to unfamiliar operational processes.
