Key Responsibilities


The individual is responsible for managing key customer accounts, fostering strong client relationships, and ensuring the successful delivery of customer requirements. Working closely with cross-functional stakeholders, the role drives service enhancements, resolves operational issues, supports customer satisfaction and operational excellence, and identifies commercial opportunities to grow revenue and strengthen account value.

  • Serve as the key account manager for strategic airline customers, building strong relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure operational requirements for catering services, including meals, equipment, inventory, and service delivery, are met according to agreed standards and specifications
  • Monitor customer feedback, service performance, and operational KPIs, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality.
  • Partner with customers and internal stakeholders to implement menu changes, new products, and service enhancements within agreed timelines, quality, and cost parameters.
  • Identify and pursue commercial opportunities, including revenue growth, upselling, and value-added service initiatives, while ensuring solutions remain operationally feasible and commercially viable.
  • Evaluate customer requirements and develop practical solutions through close collaboration with Procurement, Operations, and Quality Assurance teams.
  • Lead customer engagement, present proposals, and manage service-related issues to ensure effective resolution and long-term customer loyalty.
  • Develop contingency plans and support customers during operational disruptions to ensure business continuity and service excellence.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team, fostering employee engagement, capability development, and talent retention.

Key Requirements

 

  • Degree or relevant qualification in Business Administration or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in Sales, Account Management, Customer Service, or a related customer-facing role.
  • Strong stakeholder management, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively across cross-functional teams.
  • Customer-centric mindset with strong problem-solving and relationship management capabilities
  • Commercial acumen with the ability to identify revenue opportunities, assess cost implications, and support commercially viable customer solutions.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to drive service excellence in a fast-paced operational environment.
