Key Responsibilities
- Achieve New Airline Businesses and Retain Existing Accounts
- Strategize and draw up in-depth review analysis of individual accounts/contracts and develop commercial strategies for contract renewal.
- Negotiate Ground Handling contracts with the aim to attain positive business outcomes.
- Intelligence gathering with various stakeholders to cultivate/”hunt” for new airline customers/opportunities.
- Account Management
- Liaise with internal business units (such as Legal & Finance) to ensure all Legal and Billing requirements for contracts are administered in accordance to Company policies and processes.
- Facilitate and liaise with internal operating departments to ensure all agreed Service Level Agreements (SLA) requirements as set out by Airline customers are disseminated and carried out accordingly, to maintain consistency in customer service delivery
- Back-end SAP rate maintenance, Sales orders creation and ensure correct billing through working closely with finance team
- Customer Relationship Management (CRM) maintenance: airline contracts and customer information to be recorded
- Monitoring financial performance through budgeting / projections / costings exercises with finance team
- Relationship Management
- Build strong rapport and to promote and pursue “customer intimacy” (knowing the customers) to understand the airline and their needs; and be able to anticipate and plan ahead to fulfil the customer’s requirements
- Organize customer events such as Annual Party, Golf Event, etc.
- Regional /Network Marketing
- Facilitate network discussions with SATS’ JVs and WFS EMEAA and N. America
- Open doors for new opportunities across the SATS Group’s network
- Deepening collaboration with existing customers
- Extending new network partnerships to existing customers
- Enhance SATS group branding at conferences
Key Requirements
- At least 5 years of relevant working experience
- Self-driven and highly motivated with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and influencing skills in order to build consensus and relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent planning, problem solving, organizational and leadership skills to support dynamic business and operational requirements
