Key Responsibilities
This role will be an integral part of the Enterprise Risk Management function to redesign and transform the risk management strategy and reconfigure risk management and business continuity processes that embraces a risk philosophy that is forward-looking and risk intelligent.
- Lead the development of fit-for-purpose ERM Frameworks and policies
- Primary oversight of risk management activities as a key second line of defence
- Develop and maintain organizational wide risk appetite including monitoring of adherence to the risk appetite through associated key risk indicators
- Lead project, investment and operational risk assessments including the review of risk registers and the development of key risk management tools and templates
- Champion and integrate risk intelligence initiatives into risk management processes such as predictive analytics, sense-making, scenario analysis / stress testing
- Conduct training and workshops and design risk communications and awareness programs
- Go-to person as the COE for risk management matters including advisory, thought leadership and solutioning
- Key Business Partner for the implementation of risk management activities and initiatives
- Assist in all business, senior management and board reporting matters
Key Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, risk management, or a related field;
- Minimum 6 years’ experience developing and implementing strategies for enterprise risk management and business continuity management
- CPA, CFA or related Risk Certifications (CPRM, etc.)
- Strong active learning ability and highly motivated individual.
- Possess rigorous thinking ability and strong analytical ability with a can-do spirit
- Possess strong interpersonal skills, able to effectively establish contacts with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to adapt and work well in a complex operating environment
