Key Responsibilities
- Achieve on-time departure of flights by monitoring and ensuring:
- Adequate and optimal manning level and GSEs to handle the departure flights activities efficiently
- Staff’s familiarity to various airlines’ varying requirements.
- Compliance to departure flight handling precision timing.
- Minimize accident by monitoring and ensuring:
- Staff adopting the principle of safe unloading / loading of aircraft.
- Relevant training tailored for all grades of staff.
- Daily safety audits by supervisory staff.
- Serviceable GSEs in good working order are used.
- Staff’s adherence to roadway safety rules & regulations.
- Monitor and review the overall Ramp Support’s manpower and ground support equipment requirement based on seasonal and / or ad-hoc flight changes
- Establish and monitor the Ramp Support’s manpower recruitment process when necessary and analyse, anticipate and plan for replacement and / or purchasing of new GSEs;
- Plan and review the Ramp Support’s manpower deployment and roster based on seasonal and / or ad-hoc flight changes;
- Plan, prepare and review the Ramp Support’s operating and capital expenditure budget
- Assist in overall monitoring of Ramp Support’s business process, particularly in terms of the Department’s Key Performance Indicators and Department’s Service Level Agreement.
- Ensures that the Quality Management System complies with the requirements of ISO 9001
- Responsible for operational safety and security; ensuring compliance with all related policies and procedures
Key Requirements
- Degree with at least 8 years experience, preferably in the aviation or airline industries.
- Strong interest in operations
- Ability to lead a team of sizeable number of workers.
- Results-oriented, confident and resourceful
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
