Key Responsibilities

 

The Manager, Building Services and Sustainability, you will lead the Building Services team and manage contractors to ensure the safe, reliable and compliant operation of building infrastructure and M&E systems across SATS Cargo Airfreight Terminals (AFTs). You will oversee facilities maintenance and services, manage infrastructure projects and contracts, and drive sustainability and continuous improvement initiatives.

 

  • Lead the operation and maintenance of building infrastructure, M&E systems and cleaning services to support reliable 24/7 operations.
  • Manage facilities contracts, contractors and service providers, including Tender and RFQ/RFP exercises.
  • Plan infrastructure facilities and asset renewal and upgrading works and lead the projects as Project Manager.
  • Drive sustainability and continuous improvement initiatives across facilities and engineering systems.
  • Lead and develop the Building Services team and work closely with internal stakeholders, service providers and regulatory authorities.
  • Manage budgets and ensure compliance with applicable safety, statutory and regulatory requirements, including supporting emergency response

Key Requirements

 

  • Degree or Diploma in Engineering (preferably Mechanical or Electrical), Facilities Management, Building Services or a related discipline.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in facilities management, building services operations and maintenance.
  • Experience in team leadership, contractor and contract management, and project management.
  • Good knowledge of M&E or building systems and relevant safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Relevant professional certification such as Fire Safety Manager, Singapore Certified Energy Manager (SCEM), Green Mark or other sustainability or facilities-related certification is an advantage.
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, problem-solving and communication skills.
