Key Responsibilities
• Support the Intelligent Operations Center (IOC) project in identifying and documenting data sources across different business functions and operational systems.
• Engage with respective data owners and stakeholders to understand the source, ownership, purpose, availability and usage of operational data.
• Map data flows from source systems through the relevant data layers to downstream applications, analytics and IOC use cases.
• Develop and maintain a data inventory and data mapping documentation, including data elements, source systems, interfaces and data ownership.
• Identify data gaps, duplication and potential data quality issues, and work with the relevant stakeholders to clarify the information.
• Support the development of data-layer and data-flow diagrams to provide a clear view of how data is structured and flows across the IOC ecosystem.
• Consolidate findings from different stakeholders and prepare documentation and presentation materials for project discussions and reviews.
Key Requirements
• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business Analytics or a related discipline.
• Strong interest in data, technology, systems integration and understanding how information flows across business processes.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand and organise information from multiple sources.
• Comfortable communicating and engaging with different stakeholders to gather and clarify information.
• Good documentation and presentation skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Visio or other process/data-mapping tools would be an advantage.
• Able to work independently, organise information systematically and follow up with stakeholders when information is incomplete.
