Key Responsibilities
The Compliance Intern will support governance and compliance initiatives across the Group. The role offers exposure to policy development, regulatory research, compliance programmes, stakeholder engagement and governance reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain compliance-related registers, including conflict of interest, data breach, AI and policy registers.
Conduct regulatory, legal and industry research on emerging developments and best practices.
Support policy reviews, benchmarking exercises and gap assessments.
Assist in preparing management reports, dashboards and governance updates.
Support data protection activities, including data inventories, data mapping and incident tracking.
Assist with compliance training, awareness initiatives and policy rollouts.
Prepare and format policies, reports, presentations and stakeholder communications.
Support audit and assurance activities by maintaining documentation and tracking action items.
Assist with process improvement and other risk and compliance projects as assigned.
Key Requirements
Education
Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Law, Business, Accountancy, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Risk Management or a related discipline.
Skills & Competencies
Strong research, analytical and written communication skills.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately with policies, reports and governance records.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
Able to prepare clear, professional and visually well-structured documents, presentations and stakeholder communications.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Able to handle confidential information with discretion.
Preferred
Interest in compliance, risk management, data protection, AI governance or corporate governance.
Familiarity with regulatory research, policy development or governance-related projects.
Experience with Power BI, data visualisation tools or AI productivity tools would be an advantage.
