Key Responsibilities

  • Engage and consult with the business on strategic organisational and capability issues and develop a People strategy in partnership with HC COEs to delivery an excellent employee experience and support business objectives and growth both within and outside Singapore.
  • Partner with Business leaders and lead a team of HC business partners to provide strategic HC advice and counsel and drive the full spectrum of the employee life cycle i.e. workforce planning, talent acquisition, succession planning, talent management, employee relations and leadership development.
  • Facilitate discussions around change, culture and transformation, ensuring that all processes and programmes around rewards and talent are implemented in collaboration with the respective COEs.
  • Build and strengthen culture change and transformation in partnership with the employee relations and culture team – delivering interventions to create a collaborative culture for resource sharing and capability building, and alignment to organisational purpose, vision, mission and values.
  • Work with the employee relations team to manage and resolve issues in partnership with the relevant stakeholders and unions.
  • Drive the use of analytics to bring proactive business insights to team to drive innovation and make data driven decisions in partnership with the data and analytics teams.
  • Ensure that HC policies and practices are aligned with relevant statutory requirements and legislation.

Key Requirements

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • A recognised degree with at least 15 years of relevant working experience, with broad experience around all People-related aspects e.g. employee/labour relations, change management, performance and talent management;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic and growing organisation;
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills with demonstrated ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels and create consensus;
  • Passion for the role, be forward-thinking and able to drive change;
  • Excellent verbal, written and analytical skills;
  • Excellent people management and leadership development skills; and
  • Previous experience and experience interacting with stakeholders within the region and/or globally would be a positive.
