Key Responsibilities


The Head of Finance Transformation Office is responsible for leading the finance transformation agenda across the organization, driving strategic initiatives that enhance finance capabilities, operating models, processes, systems, governance, and data. This role establishes and leads the Finance Transformation Office (FTO), ensuring successful delivery of a multi-year transformation portfolio while enabling Finance to become a strategic business partner through digitalization, standardization, automation, and continuous improvement.

 

The role partners closely with Finance leadership, Technology, Human Capital, Procurement, Shared Services, business units, and external partners to deliver sustainable transformation outcomes aligned with the company's strategic priorities.

 

Finance Transformation Strategy

  • Review and refine the global finance transformation roadmap to ensure continued relevance and alignment with the organisation’s business strategy and finance vision
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, effectiveness, controls, and decision support across the finance function
  • Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously modernise Finance capabilities

 

Strategic Project Management and Execution

  • Lead strategic finance transformation projects, ensuring consistent and effective governance, programme management standards, reporting and resource planning
  • Drive execution across multiple concurrent transformation initiatives
  • Ensure there is clear and aligned definition of KPIs and success measures for transformation initiatives, and appropriate tracking mechanisms established
  • Track delivery against milestones, and provide regular reporting to the CFO and relevant Steering Committees

 

Digital Finance & Process Excellence

  • Lead end-to-end redesign and global standardisation of core finance processes
  • Promote lean and continuous improvement methodologies to simplify and optimise processes
  • Partner with technology teams to implement finance technology solutions
  • Drive adoption of automation technologies including RPA, AI, workflow automation, analytics, and self-service reporting
  • Improve finance data quality, governance and reporting capabilities

 

Transfer Pricing

  • Maintain and enhance SATS’s global transfer pricing policies in line with OECD guidelines, BEPS requirements, and local regulations
  • Prepare and review Master File, Local File, and CbCR documentation and BEPS compliance for SATS entities across multiple jurisdictions
  • Provide TP input on new products, business restructurings, cross-border transactions, Intellectual property planning, etc
  • Support responses to TP audits and assist with Advance Pricing Agreements or Mutual Agreement Procedures where applicable
  • Work closely with various Corporate functions and business units to implement TP policies effectively. Foster collaboration between teams in a matrixed environment

Key Requirements

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or related discipline
  • CPA, CA, ACCA, CFA, MBA, or equivalent postgraduate qualification preferred
  • 12–15+ years of progressive finance leadership experience
  • Significant experience leading large-scale finance transformation programmes
  • Experience with shared services, global business services, or finance operating model transformation
  • Demonstrated success leading cross-functional, global initiatives across multiple geographies
  • Experience managing external consulting partners and system integrators
  • Experience managing complex cost structures and operating in multi-system/applications environment
  • Excellent financial acumen combined with clear, confident, and disciplined communication skills
