Key Responsibilities


The Human Capital Solution Architect is the senior technology leader responsible for defining and driving the Human Capital (HC) digital strategy at Group level, assisting senior Human Capital leaders in defining the strategy and leading its technology implementation, with a strong mandate to transform and consolidate the current HC application landscape and design a robust, sustainable service model. 


HC Digital Strategy & Business Partnership

  • Act as the HC technology lead, engaging directly with HC senior leadership to define and sustain the HC digital vision and roadmap
  • Lead the strategic transformation from fragmented regional HC platforms to a unified Group-level solution
  • Advise HC executives on platform strategy, vendor alternatives, AI adoption, and investment trade‑offs


Product & Portfolio Leadership

  • Lead, coach, and supervise HC Product Managers, ensuring clarity of accountability and consistent delivery
  • Oversee HC products including SAP SuccessFactors, all related regional tenants, and any additional HC Corporate Systems or Centres of Expertise
  • Ensure functional coverage of key HC modules, including - Core HR, Performance & Goals, Succession & Talent, Learning Management (LMS), Compensation, Recruiting & Onboarding, and Related integrations and data flows


Technology & Partner Selection

  • Lead technology evaluation, vendor comparison, and partner selection activities for HC solutions
  • Ensure IT standards compliance in close coordination with Enterprise Architecture, Data, Integration, and Cybersecurity teams
  • Ensure selected solutions support scalability, compliance, and innovation (including AI capabilities)


Implementation Orchestration & Transformation Delivery

  • Orchestrate complex HC transformation programs, including tenant consolidation, migrations, and phased rollouts
  • Coordinate Product Managers, PMO, system integrators, and vendors across regions
  • Actively manage interdependencies, risks, and critical milestones
  • Step into direct delivery or leadership roles when program complexity or resourcing requires it


AI, Innovation & Capability Enablement

  • Drive adoption of AI capabilities across key HC processes, including (but not limited to): Talent identification and skills intelligence, Learning personalisation, Workforce insights and predictive analytics, and Recruitment screening and experience enhancement
  • Ensure responsible, secure, and value-driven use of AI, aligned with Group data and ethics principles


Governance & Standards Compliance

  • Ensure all HC solutions comply with Group Enterprise Architecture, Cybersecurity and data protection, and Integration and interoperability standards
  • Act as a key governance authority for HC design decisions in coordination with Group Design Authorities


Operational Oversight & Evolution

  • Define and oversee HC operating models, including ownership, support, and escalation paths
  • Support Product Managers in structuring support models, release management, and vendor governance

Key Requirements

 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Certifications in HR platforms, enterprise architecture, program management, or AI/data are advantageous.
  • Senior experience leading Human Capital technology transformations, preferably with SAP SuccessFactors in multi‑tenant or multi‑region environments. 3-5 years.
  • Additional expertise and experience in market HC technology references as Workday is also an asset.
  • Demonstrated experience managing or consolidating large HC landscapes (Core HR, Talent, Learning, Compensation, Recruiting).
  • Proven ability to evaluate and compare HC platforms (e.g. SuccessFactors vs Workday).
  • Strong understanding of AI applications in HC and digital workforce enablement.
  • Experience leading teams of Product Managers or Solution Owners in global organisations.
  • Solid understanding of enterprise architecture, integrations, data governance, and cybersecurity in HC systems.
  • Ability to operate credibly at both strategic and execution levels
