Key Responsibilities

The HSSE Executive ( Pulse Administrator) is a regional position responsible for managing Pulse information to support leaders and employees as needed to manage performance. Pulse is the internal name of SATS HSSE System.

It is a key role, working closely with the Global Owner of Application (GOA) from Group HSSE and Regional HSSE champions to support data quality for performing accurate analyses and developing effective HSSE strategies.

Pulse Input & Investigation

  • Review and validate daily inputs on reported events, near-misses, and hazards.
  • Assign risk levels based on the SATS HSSE Risk Matrix to ensure appropriate follow-up.
  • Appoint investigators and ensure investigation details are recorded in Pulse.

Pulse Analytics

  • Support HSSE Leads in data analysis, trend monitoring, and trimester reporting on high-risk areas.
  • Use tools like Power BI and Excel to generate dashboards and reports for HSSE and internal stakeholders.
  • Track and report key performance indicators.

Pulse Account & Data Management

  • Manage user accounts, roles, and permissions in line with job responsibilities.
  • Review and audit organizational/staff data before upload.
  • Remove inactive or obsolete accounts.
  • Ensure Pulse organisational structures reflect actual operations.

Support & Training

  • Serve as first-level support for Pulse issues and queries.
  • Conduct user training, provide updated guides/manuals, and cascade updates from Global Office.
  • Partner with HSSE Pulse Champions to strengthen reporting and inspections.
  • Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and privacy compliance through regular audits.

Pulse Development Management

  • Communicate updates, new features, and maintenance schedules to users.
  • Collect user feedback, escalate complex issues, and contribute to system enhancements.
  • Participate in testing of new functionalities or upgrades.
  • Work with Global Office/Enablon teams on improvements when needed.

Key Requirements

  • Degree or Diploma in Health and Safety, Ergonomics or Engineering or equivalent
  • Background in HSSE will be advantageous
  • Experience in using HSSE systems and PowerBI will be advantageous
  • Strong data management and analytical skills, with proven experience in generating meaningful reports from large data sets
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence cross-functional teams and regional stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative and drive process improvements independently
