Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing, including CPF submissions, IR21, IR8A, and GL postings.
- Perform month-to-month variance reconciliations on headcount and salary.
- Perform monthly reconciliation on suspense accounts.
- Process CPF refund claims, Government Paid Leave claims, and NS claims accurately and timely.
- Preparation of daily fast payments for resigning staff.
- Handle external payments and deductions.
- Manage recovery of outstanding salary from ex-staff.
- Coordinate and support internal and external audits by providing timely information, reconciliations, and clarifications to auditors.
- Review existing payroll procedures and recommend improvements to optimize productivity, accuracy, and compliance.
- Lead or participate in process improvement initiatives to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency.
- Review, update, and maintain Payroll Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
- Attend to staff queries on salary matters.
- Support ad-hoc reporting and assignments as required.
Key Requirements
- Diploma in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on payroll experience, preferably in a SAP environment.
- Strong knowledge of the Singapore Employment Act, CPF, IRAS, MOM regulations.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and well-versed in Microsoft Office applications
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality
- Highly motivated, task-oriented, and capable of meeting tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Demonstrated ability to motivate and coach team members.
