Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out dining hall operations tasks and roles.
  • Handle beverages in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
  • Perform cashiering duties.
  • Conduct simple cutting of vegetables and fruits.
  • Prepare simple waffles, sandwiches, and desserts.
  • Perform counter serving and table service.
  • Ensure service readiness with timely execution of daily meals and festive specials, if required.
  • Work closely with the team to maintain product and service standards at all times.

Key Requirements

  • Able to work in a school canteen environment, following school rules and regulations
  • Possess basic food hygiene knowledge (Food Hygiene Certificate preferred or willing to obtain)
  • Able to handle beverages and simple food preparation (e.g. drinks, waffles, sandwiches, desserts)
  • Comfortable with cashiering duties and basic cash handling
  • Able to perform simple cutting and preparation of fruits and vegetables
  • Friendly, patient, and able to interact politely with students and staff
  • Physically fit to stand for long hours and perform light manual tasks
  • Able to work as part of a team and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
  • Responsible, punctual, and maintains good personal hygiene and cleanliness
  • Willing to work during school operating hours (including early mornings)
  • Prior experience in canteen, food stall, or F&B environment is an advantage but not mandatory
