Key Responsibilities

 

THE ROLE

This role will be an integral member of the Legal & Secretariat team providing legal support and delivering effective legal operations across the Group, with a focus on Contract Lifecycle Management System (CLMS) administration, governance, and continuous improvement as well as the management of our intellectual property portfolio and insurance claims.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Contract lifecycle management
    • Support the implementation, management and administration of SATS’ Contract Lifecycle Management System (CLMS), including data migration, user access, permissions, metadata, and system configuration requests;
    • Assist in updating and maintaining contract templates, clause libraries, and governance frameworks;
    • Monitor data quality, metadata completeness, and system usage, and drive data hygiene initiatives; 
    • Generate reports, dashboards, and analytics to support legal and business decision-making;
    • Assist in workflow updates, testing (UAT), troubleshooting, and implementation of enhancements in coordination with technical teams and vendors;
    • Identify process inefficiencies and support continuous improvement initiatives; and
    • Support stakeholder engagement and change management initiatives, including coordinating training, onboarding, and user support across various functions and business teams.
  • Legal operations
    • Assist with maintaining the SATS’ IP portfolio, including working with external providers on trademark renewals and registrations;  
    • Assist with management and administration of insurance claims and related documentation; and
    • Assist with other related legal operations duties, including organising internal trainings and knowledge management activities

Key Requirements

 

  • Diploma/ Bachelor’s degree in law, business, technology or related discipline.
  • 5-8 years of experience in legal operations, contract management, or in-house or law firm legal support roles.
  • Experience supporting CLMS platforms or similar systems will be an advantage.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Understanding of contract lifecycle processes and legal operations frameworks.
  • Strong organisational and project management and coordination skills.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Proficient in technology with strong analytical skills and ability to work with data and reporting tools.
